Christmas

For Christmas this year we spent the night with Jeff's family in Tremonton. It was kind of a strange Christmas for me, because Christmas day (in the evening) I hopped on a plane and flew to San Diego for my brother's wedding and left the rest of my family behind. It was a quick trip cuz I was back home by Sunday morning, but it felt weird leaving my family on Christmas. I was glad to be at my brother's wedding though, so it was good.

Christmas eve we had great food and then a talent show. Each family had to spend ten minutes. We showed a video of the girls piano recitals and dance recitals and then Ally read a story that she had written for school. The kids had a lot of fun and we were totally exhausted by the time it was bed time.

Christmas morning was great. We didn't even get up til eight which was sleeping in compared to other years. The girls all loved what Santa brought and then we opened gifts with Jeff's mom and dad and his brother and his family. It was a very nice Christmas. Sorry for the lack of pictures. We did really well with the video camera this year, but kind of forgot to snap pictures. I had intended to take some pictures of the girls with all their new things when we got home, but it was all just such a mess by then. Oh well.

Checking out what Santa brought. Saedy got a baby doll with a stroller, swing, car seat, high chair combination. She LOVED it and loves playing with dolls.

Saedy got a strawberry shortcake house and dolls. Ally and Witney both got Best Friend Club dolls. So it was a year for dolls! What can I say with a house full of girls :)

2/2013 - Watching Ally get a haircut. Bayely said "She looks Faaannn-tastic!"
2/2013 - Bayley: "Everyone person in the whole world is Heavenly Father's Kids". Josi: "You're right!" Bayley: "He has plenty of kids! Even in Africa!"
1/2013 - While driving...Bayley: "Mom, you know those signs with arrows pointing up?" Josi: "Yes". Bayley: "I think that means to drive forward, cuz you can't drive straight up in the air, unless your car has wings!" Smart thinking Bay :)
2012 - Saedy: "I feel just like a rookie from Salt Lake!" All of us: "????"
11/2011 - While in a public restroom with Bayley. Bayley: "When daddy takes me to the bathroom, he takes me in the boys. He thinks I am a boy". Josi: "No, he is a boy so he has to go in the boys. You can go in the boys even though you are a girl, because you are still little". Bayley: "When I grow up and have a husband and a little cutie pie, he will take her to the boys bathroom too."
7/2011 - Josi: "Bayley, shut the door please". Bayley: "Mom, I'm just going to leave the door open a crap".
5/2011 - Saedy: "At school we drink goat milk." Josi: "Really? You drink goat milk? How do you know it is goat milk?" Saedy: "On the milk at school it says 'goat milk'". Josi....confused look. Witney: "Ohhhh, no Saedy, it says 'got milk'".
5/2011 - Bayley: "Mom, can we get some candy at the store?" Josi: "I don't know, you never eat anything but candy." Bayley: "What's butt candy?"
3/2011 - Bayley: "Mom I really want to go to the temple".
2/2011 - Bayley: "Mommy, you look so pretty and you are so cute".
1/2011 - Bayley: "Mommy, I have boobies like you....they're so fluffy".
7/2010 - Bayley: "Mom......Saedy bugga me...so bad".
7/2010 - Josi: "Bayley, you are beautiful". Bayley: "No, I not bootiful, I cutie pie".
7/11/2010 - Today at church a friend told Jeff that Saedy had just informed him that her cat can't have kittens, because it had a divorce!
6/20/2010 - Saedy: (Looking at some model bones at the doctor's office). "Mom, I know what is inside my body....bones, blood and ribs."
6/5/2010 - Saedy: "I didn't break my arm, I broke my bone".
6/5/2010 - Saedy: (After breaking her arm) "Well, I guess my bone is just floating around in there now!"
3/9/2010 - Saedy: "Mom do you know what 'no fence' means?" Josi: "Um.......that there's not a fence?" Saedy: "No, it means you are trying not to hurt someone's feelings". (No offense)
3/7/2010 - Bayely: "Mom..... mom....... mommy......... mommy........ moooommmy......... Shosh(Jos)....... Shosh.......... Shoshee(Josi)......... SHOSHEEEEEE BARFUFFFFF (This is what happens when I don't answer her right away)
2/14/2009 - The girls were discussing something about their new zhu zhu pets (not sure what). Witney: "Mine has two." Ally: "Mine has two too". Witne: "Ha ha, two too." Saedy: "Ally, you should say 'Mine has two also'."
2/3/2010 - I couldn't find my cell phone last night so I had Jeff call it. I followed the sound into Bayley's room and saw her leg glowing. My cell phone was in the leg of her footie pajamas. This morning when I got her dressed I also found a wii remote and a farm animal fridge magnet! What a silly goose!
2/1/2010 - Bayley's new cousin Jackson (2 weeks old) came to visit yesterday and Bayley could not get enough of him. She would sit on the lap of whoever was holding Jackson and would constantly say "baby" and want to hold him and be right by his side. When he left, she wanted to go too and cried for the baby. All day today, she keeps going to the door and saying "mon (come on)" "go" "baby" and when I tell her we can't go see the baby cuz he lives to far away, she cries.
1/31/2010 - Bayley: "So"....."So"..... (all day long) (her new word she learned to say, and she says it really sassy like I am sure she has heard her sisters say it!)
1/27/2010 - Josi (while Saedy is throwing a temper tantrum) "Wow, Saedy, that sure isn't the way a five year old should be acting!" Saedy: "Well anyway, I won't turn five until tomorrow so I can act this way today!"
12/14/09 - On the way home from Wit and Saedy's dance recital. Jeff had drove seprate and Wit and Saedy went home with him. Bayley and I began to have this conversation. Bayley: "Mom, mom, mom, mom". Josi: "What Bayley?" Bayley: "Nee Nee (Witney) Daddy". Josi: "Yep, Witney went with Dad". Bayley: "Mom, mom, mom, mom". Josi: "What Bayley?" Bayley: "Say say (Saedy) Daddy." Josi: "Yep, Saedy went with Daddy." So after about five minutes of this same conversation over and over again. Josi: "Bayley, should we turn on some music and stop talking?". So I turned on the music and Bayley starts singing along with the music in this cute, soft, high voice "Nee nee, dad. Say Say, dad. Nee nee, dad. Say say, dad." She really did not want to stop having that conversation! It was so cute and hilarious.
Josi: (Complaining about a cold I had) "Saedy, what should I do, I feel sick?" Saedy: "Maybe Jesus can help you. My teacher at church says that Jesus helps everyone"!
Saedy: (Watching a t.v. at Outer Limits (a kids fun zone)) "Why doesn't this t.v. have the volume up"? (That right there cracked me up, her using the word "volume"). Josi: "Because it's too noisy in here to hear. That is why they have the closed caption on, which means you can read the words while you watch". Saedy: "Don't they know that some kids can't read"?
11/10/2009 - The girls love the new music from the Hannah Montana Movie. They go arond singing the "Hoedown Throwdown" which goes "Pop it, lock it, polka dot it....etc". Bayley loves to dance around the house singing "pop it, pop it, pop it".
11/10/2009 - Bayley is getting to be so much fun! She loves animals and when she sees anything that remotely looks like a bear she says "Grrrr". She was a care bear for Halloween and anytime anyone would say "Are you a bear?" She would say "Grrr".
11/5/2009 - The girls were memorizing their parts for the primary program at church. I had gone over Saedy's part with her earlier in the week which is "I can obey my parents". Later I asked her if she remembered what her part was. She said yes, "My parents can be honest". I thought that was funny. She said it the right way and prefectly on the day of the program!
9/8/2009 - Josi: (Helping Witney with homework) "Wit, you need to write this sentence". Wit - "Mom, why don't you just write it." Josi: "I think your teacher would be able to tell if I did it for you." Wit - "Just write kind of sloppy!"
8/29/2009 - Josi: "Ally, thank you for helping with Bayley while I was gone." Witney - "I helped too!" Josi - "Thank you for helping with Bayley too, Wit, and Saedy thank you for helping too!" Saedy - "Well, you don't need to thank me, cuz I did not help at ALL!"
8/16/2009-(After vacation) Josi: "Saedy, I think you grew while I was gone!" Saedy: "I am still four!"
8/11/09-(While telling Saedy goodbye before we left on vacation). Josi: "I love you, be good and no whining, ok?" Saedy: "Mom, I never whine at other peoples houses".
8/1/09-(While visiting Yellowstone and Bayley got a stuffed bear) Saedy: "If I had a real bear, I think I would keep it outside!"
Witney: "Saedy, you are such a brat!" Saedy: "Well, you are a barbie!"
Josi: "Saedy you don't get any snacks tonight, you didn't finish your dinner. You have to learn!" Saedy: "I can't learn, I'm just to little!"
Saedy: "There's a spider on the window!" Witney: "Is it big?" Saedy: "No, it's medium."
Josi: "Saedy, are you taking those crackers downstairs?" (I don't allow food downstairs). Saedy: "I was going to, until you saw me. Now I'm not".
Jeff: "What are you guys watching?" Saedy: "Diarrhea 2". Jeff: "Diarrhea 2???" Witney: "Ya, Princess Diarrhea 2!" (Princess Diaries 2)
Josi: "Witney do you know who the Prophet is?" Witney: "Barrack Obama?"
Josi: "Saedy, you are such a silly goose!" Saedy: "You are a silly duck!"
Josi: "These are some things that start with "F" fish, feet, frog, can you think of anything that starts with "F"? Saedy: "Ffffff-water".
The other day I was feeling Saedy's spine to see if it felt straight to me, and as I was, she said "Mom, those are just my horns".
Saedy: "Mom, the cars windows are 'froggy'!"
Witney: "Mom, I had the scariest day at school today! I saw a leprechan on the bleachers and when I blinked, it was gone!"
Josi: (After Bayley unrolled a roll of paper towels all over the living room) "Oh, Bayley, are you getting into mischief?" Saedy: " That is not mischief, it is paper towels!"
Saedy: "Mom, how do the boogers get in my nose?" (Then, after I told her what I thought). "Oh, I thought it was that little person that lives in my head that put them in there".
Josi: (After fishing a bunch of Saedy's toys out of the bathroom sink full of water) "Saedy, I sure hope that you won't destroy all your new birthday toys that you get tomorrow like this". Saedy: "Well, of course I won't, cuz then I will be 4!"
Josi: "Saedy, do I get some of your chocolate bar?" Saedy: "Yes, but I am only giving you one piece, so don't throw a fit!"
Saedy: "Mom, will you get me a snack?" (And before I could even answer) "You have none just a seconds". (She knew just what I would say!)
Ally: (With a very serious look on her face after Jeff had answered some sort of deep question she had asked). "Wow, it's usually dad that doesn't really know anything."
Saedy: "I don't want that for supper, it's gross". Josi: "You haven't ever tried it before." Saedy: "Yes I have, we had it at preschool". (Saedy says this every time we are having something she doesn't want for dinner, although I know that they don't eat meals at school, let alone dinner).
Saedy: "Mom, I can't sleep. It feels like I have a hot hairball in my throat."
Saedy: (Talking about an ornament on the tree that plays music) "Mom, this makes our tree very songiful".
Saedy: "When Bayley grows up, what will we call her?" Josi: (Confused) "Bayley" Saedy: "That's a baby name!"
Josi: (To Witney and Saedy, arguing over crayons) "Girls, please stop arguing!" Saedy: "We aren't arguing" Witney: "Yes we are". Saedy: "No we aren't". Witney: "Yes! We are!" Saedy: "No! We aren't!"
Saedy: "When I get big and go to Kindergarten, I will miss daddy so much!" Josi: "Won't you miss me?" Saedy: "No, your just a mom".
Saedy: "Mom, why are you scare-ing at me"?
Saedy: (After seeing a dead lizard in the back yard at Grandma's house in St. George). "That lizard had eyes, and it was lookin' at me"!
Saedy: "Witney, you got a bat in the cave."
Saedy: (While watching America's Funniest Home Videos) "Ouch, that looked very hurtiful."
Saedy: "Mom, I know where everything goes when you flush the toilet!" Josi: "You do? Where?" Saedy: "To Heavenly Father!"
Jeff: "Saedy, don't get on my bad side!" Saedy: "Dad is your bad side this side (pointing to Jeff's left side) or this side (pointing to his right)?"
Witney: "These pajamas feel fragile." Josi: "Do you know what fragile means?" Witney: "No, not really."
Saedy: "Mom, you have to drink your smoothie slowly, or you will get cold brains!"
Josi: "Saedy, did you get into the cat food again?" Saedy:"No" Josi:"Tell the truth." Saedy: "Truth!"
Saedy: (Trying to talk to me with Bayley crying) "I can't even talk to you cuz Bayley's being annoying!"
Saedy: "Mom, my friend has a dog, a cat, and a poodle." Josi: "Isn't a poodle a dog?" Saedy: "No, a poodle's just a poodle!"
Saedy: "Ally you know that little guy named TS or somethin like that?" Ally: "You mean ET?" Saedy: "Ya, ET"!
Saedy: "Ally those pajamas are Sweet!"
Saedy: "Mom, you should get these shoes, they are the new style!"
Saedy: "Oh my Gosh!" Josi: "What's Oh My Gosh?" (Meaning, "why did you say oh my gosh"). Saedy "You know, it means like 'What the crap'!"
Witney: "Did you move Bayley's carseat". (After Jeff changed Bayley's carseat from one side of the car to the other.) Ally: "No, it's just because the car is backed into the drive way instead of facing forward". (Poor Ally, takes after her mom).
