Easter 2010

We had a great Easter/Conference weekend this year! My brother, Andy, had just returned from his mission in Brazil so we decided to spend the weekend in Centerville since my whole family would be there.

The Easter bunny came a day early to our house because we had to get up early and take off for Utah that morning. Here are the girls discovering what treats they got in their Easter baskets.

On our way to Centerville we decided to stop in Tremonton for their annual Easter egg hunt, where the kids get full size candy bars. The girls hit the jackpot as we brought home about 30 candy bars total!

I was with Saedy during the hunt, that is while their are only pics of her. It was cold and, as you can see, had snowed the night before, but they had fun anyway.

After the morning session of conference, the girls did another Easter egg hunt at Grandma Karen's house. She was very creative and had clues made up for each of the kids. They actually had to "hunt" for all their candy along with the next clue. They enjoyed it!

Ally had to find a clue in "the coldest place in the house".

Bayely just had candy laying around the living room to pick up. She loved that.

Later while all the guys were at the Priesthood session of Conference, the kids dyed Easter eggs. I forgot to snap some pics while they were actually coloring the eggs, but here is an after shot.

It was a great weekend. We enjoyed spending time with the family and look forward to more time in the future!
