So here is another post I am behind on writing! There are more to come so keep checking!
Bayley went in for her one year check up last month, and she is doing great! She weighed 19 lbs 7 oz and was 29 inches long! The doc said she checked out great and even gave us some free samples of stuff to rub on her scar so hopefully it will fade away better.
Bayley has learned to walk now and will take steps here and there and even stand back up on her own if she falls. But she still crawls as her main mode of transportation because I think she realizes she can get places much more quickly. She has pretty much learned how to crawl up and down the stairs also, which relieves a little stress.
Bayley says a few words, and babbles a lot. She says mama, dada, hi (which sounds more like ha), kitty (which sounds like ki), and uh oh. She loves to have nonsense conversations with me and will even make little laughing sounds as she babbles, just as if she is having a real conversation and telling me something very entertaining. It is super cute. I will have to get it on video. She also loves to sing and when she hears music on the radio or the hymns at church, she will start "ahhhh"ing to the music in her pretty singing voice. She waves bye bye, although whenever Jeff leaves for work in the morning, she will never wave until after he is already gone! It drives him nuts. She also loves to give "fives", and just learned how to blow kisses.
She has five teeth now, her two bottom middles came in at about 9 months and the two top middles poked through just about a week after her birthday. The fifth one, a bottom, just poked through the other day. It is strange to me, cuz all the other girls had a whole mouth full of teeth by a year old. But the doc said he could see many more coming, and she has been sucking on her fingers constantly, so I am thinking they are all going to come at once.
Bayley loves music, loves to sing and dance, and LOVES to play with her sisters! Any time Ally or Witney walk past her, she will stretch out her arms for them to pick her up.
So these are the stats on our little one year old! She is such a fun little person and I can't believe she is already getting so grown up!
