Jaden's Graveside

I have been meaning to write a post since we had Jaden's graveside services a few weeks ago. The service was very nice. Short and sweet. Ally gave a little talk about the plan of salvation, and then Jeff gave a little talk. Both Jeff and my families were there, and it was so great to have so much love and support. Jeff purchased this picture for me, which is a pencil drawing of the Savior with a little boy. It was a surprise to me when we got there, and it made such a nice back drop to the graveside while we had the service. It is what I call my "Jaden" picture, because I imagine he might look something like this in heaven with his brother Jesus. It is so comforting to know that we will get to see him and get to know him one day.

We received so many phone calls, cards, visitors, gifts and just words of encouragement over this time, and we appreciate it so much. People said such wonderful and comforting things, and I feel like I learned so much from the whole experience. As hard as it has been, I feel very blessed to know that Heavenly Father thought we were special enough to be this little boy's parents.

Here is a picture of the grave on Memorial Day. The headstone is not finished yet, but it still looked so great.

So many cute flowers and trucks, etc. I'll bet that it looked even better in person.
